Bio

I am a writer, historian and Castle proprietor with an eclectic background in publishing, journalism and engineering project management. I have been very fortunate to have some of my stories featured in a variety of publications.

I am also involved with personal projects aiming to increase environmental awareness by reconnecting people to nature. I am currently liaising with Coillte regarding the introduction of a biodiversity management plan which will include replacing the Sitka Spruce and non-native Conifers with native Scots Pines and native broadleaf trees.

I live in Ireland with my wife Marnie and we both own and manage  Turin castle, a Historical deBurgo castle in the ancient barony of Kilmaine in County Mayo.

To find out more about my work, browse my newly updated Author Portfolio and blog. Do get in touch if you have any questions or would like to discuss any of the articles.

Thanks for Stopping by.
